International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR)
The International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) is one of the oldest and most recognized organizations and it aims to support the promotion of research in communication worldwide. Since 1957, it has organized annually a conference comprised of about thirty sections and working groups.
